How to read the result
The number that matters is not the commission percentage — it is what you keep compared with what you keep now. An agency taking 45% while doubling your revenue leaves you better off than one taking 25% and changing nothing. That comparison is the whole point of this calculator, and it is the question most agency sales calls avoid.
Two settings are worth playing with. The gross basis checkbox matters more than it looks: a "50%" deal calculated before the platform's 20% cut is really about 62% of your net. And the break-even growth figure below the result tells you the minimum uplift an agency has to deliver before you are simply paying for the privilege — if their case studies do not clear that number, the deal is not worth signing.
